161.	[Bookplate for R. W. Urwin by Diocese of Durham]	At the top of this bookplate, above the text, is the arms of the bishopric of Durham. The escutcheon is azure (blue), and contains an or (gold) cross patonce. Each quadrant of the cross contains a lion rampant. On top of the shield is a bishop's mitre. As the Bishops of Durham were formerly princes of the Palatinate of Durham, this mitre has the unique distinction of also including a ducal coronet which provides for greater heraldic distinction. The bookplate is in letterpress with handwritten inserts.

162.	[Bookplate for Hugh Macdonald Sinclair]	Appearing at the top is a motto AD ASTRA VIRTUS. Star crest on a wreath sits on top of a gentleman's vizored helm with mantling. Bordure of shield has stars from the base to the dexter side and from the chief to the sinister side. Quarterly field has a lion rampant (meaning: masculinity, leadership, royalty, justice and strength) near the sinister chief and near the dexter base, and a unknown symbol on the dexter chief, and a ship (meaning: voyage, salvation, and seafaring) on the sinister base. Appearing at the bottom of the bookplate is another motto J'AIME LE MEILLEUR.

163.	[Bookplate for H. Schofield]	A textual bookplate with a simple border.

164.	[Bookplate for Bibliotheque St. Jacques]	A simple border surrounds the text printed in black ink.

165.	[Bookplate for K. H. Ingalls by Ralph Fletcher Seymour]	A portrait bookplate with a multiple black fillet border surrounding the central images used in the bookplate. The bookplate has all 12 images of the zodiac held in small circles surrounding the periphery of the central image. At the top and bottom left and right hand corners of the image are images of vines. Central to the bookplate is the image of a wicker chair held in the bottom left hand corner next to several books sitting on a reading table. The chair is facing a brick fireplace against the far wall above which are the word "BIDE-A-WHILE". In front of the fireplace is a bear skin rug. A highbacked wooden bench with three books on it sits off on the adjacent wall to the left of the image. A similar bench sits to the right of the fireplace. A clock and several other knickknacks sit on the mantelpiece above the fireplace.

166.	[Bookplate for W. H. Banfield]	A picture of the bust of W.H. Banfield above green printed text. A green printed decorative border.

167.	[Bookplate for James Stevenson by H. Wilson]	A Latin phrase is written on a banner at the top of the plate. Beneath it is a hand ascending from a heraldic silk wreath, holding a crown of leaves. While illustrated in a pictorial style, the image is reminiscent of the heraldic image of a dexter hand couped at the wrist, holding a crown of laurel or bay leaves.

168.	[Bookplate for Boys and Girls Library of the National Council of Jewish Women by G. H.]	A large book with a man peeking out of its splayed pages hovers above a collection of images from children’s literature: ships, trains, flamingo, cat, knight on horseback,and other human figures. The symbol of the National Council of Jewish Women sits at the center of the book plate with the date of the organization's foundation.

169.	[Bookplate for Goodwin's Limited]	A decorative border is printed in green ink. Inside at the top left is the Goodwin's script logo "G" on a maple leaf printed in green ink. Text is printed in black ink and three fonts, including the Goodwin's Limited logo script. There is a tear in the bottom right corner and a light "X" drawn across the plate in pencil.

170.	[Bookplate]	A coat of arms with mantling: Quarterly, 1st and 4th azure, 2 bars dancetty or, in chief 3 bezants ; 2nd and 3rd azure, a fess engrailed argent, surmounted by another, not engrailed, gules, charged with 3 roses argent, between as many swans, proper. Above the coat of arms are two crests: left is a swan gorged, wings displayed and inverted, on a wreath ; right is a bull at gaze, gorged and on a wreath. Below the coat of arms is a ribbon containing the Latin motto.
